The owners of 12 solar-powered homes in Glenview plus Saints Peter and Paul Greek Orthodox Church are showcasing their solar panel installation this Saturday. Owners will share their knowledge and experience of owning and living with renewable energy with tour participants.
The Glenbrook Solar Tour 2023 offers the public a chance to see affordable and practical solar technology in their own neighborhoods. During the tour, you'll meet people who have decided to go solar, learn why they did it, what they love about it, and lessons learned.
The Glenbrook Solar Tour 2023 is part of the statewide Solar Tour 2023 sponsored annually by the Illinois Solar Energy and Storage Association (ISEA). This free annual tour is designed to educate people about the sustainable energy choices they can make to reduce their utility bills and reduce carbon emissions at the same time.
