The owners of 17 solar-powered homes in the two villages (access map and tour times above) will share their knowledge and experience of owning and living with renewable energy with tour participants. Abt will be hosting the Model Solar Home in its parking lot at the store on Milwaukee Avenue.
The Glenbrook Solar Tour 2022 offers the public a chance to see affordable and practical solar technology in their own neighborhoods. During the tour, you'll meet people who have decided to go solar, learn why they did it, what they love about it, and lessons learned.

The Glenbrook Solar Tour 2022 is part of the statewide Solar Tour sponsored annually by the Illinois Solar Energy Association (ISEA). This free annual tour is designed to educate people about the sustainable energy choices they can make to reduce their utility bills and reduce carbon emissions at the same time.
